The EG 55 Rotary Screw Air Compressor is a medium-to-high capacity industrial compressed air system engineered to deliver a continuous, reliable, and energy-efficient supply of compressed air for demanding manufacturing and plant environments. Powered by a 55 HP (≈41 kW) three-phase electric motor, it uses oil-injected rotary screw technology, where two interlocking helical rotors compress air smoothly with minimal pulsation and lower noise compared to piston compressors.

Built for continuous duty in industrial applications, the EG 55 features a robust oil-air separation system to ensure low oil carryover, efficient cooling to protect internal components, and an intelligent control panel for monitoring and optimizing compressor performance. It also has better connectivity for sequencing with other air compressors - when it's run in conjunction with another model to provide more air when needed.
• The new canopy design gives easy access to speed up and improve machine servicing, the air dryers are built and manufactured in house giving you the same expert level of manufacturing and quality with the dryer that you have come to expect from your CompAir compressor.

CompAir's 55 to 75 kW screw compressor range has been enhanced with 2 additional "e" models offering improved performance in this kW size while at the same time being around 10% smaller than comparable machines.

The new compressors are available in both fixed and regulated speeds – which can help reduce a system’s total cost of ownership significantly – as well as air-cooled and water-cooled options.
